My 4 cores are wayyyy to hot, most times the go above 95 degrees (my limit is 100) my computer has shut down like 4 or 5 times

i once dropped my laptop by accident, it hit the grid at the ventilator.

i got like 25 FPS on all my games, even minecraft sometimes.

here is a photo of Core Temp of my heat when i play(ed) a game Knipsel.PNG

    i cant play games :(

i dont know what to do

and my laptop shuts down sometimes and all my work is GONE

I would recommend picking up a can of compressed air and spraying out the fan area (when the laptop is off). If youve never done this before a bunch of dust should just come flying out and you would notice an immediate temperature drop.

If the problem persists, try going into the BIOS and turning off Turbo Boost, this is known to drop temperatures 10-15 degrees

I am having the same problem with my 20 months old Alienware m14xR1, CPU reaching 98, and GPU 93 touched. I have been regularly cleaning and dusting my laptop. Now it seems I need to repaste so I will go for it...!!
I will also suggest you to go for cleaning the vents and also using a different BIOS. If nothn helps then probably u need to repaste also, after being sure that there is no other problem because of the fall your laptop experienced.

Annual cleaning of the vents and repasting should help.

Somtimes this isnt enough. My precision always ran cool and I always dust and repaste all of my laptops and despite all this it suddenly started running hot out of the blue.

If you have repasted and dusted ans still running hot check fan operation and bios version.

The big thing I would be checking if a dust and repaste doesn't lower temps is that the fans are actually spinning and at the right times.
