I love my m14x, but some quality control issues are really bugging me with alienware. First, i have two m14x's in my household. One for me and one for my girlfriend, and both of ours, brand new had difference quality control issues that differed from each other. One thing has been bothering me is the keyboard. Right in the area where the arrows are every time i press down on the two black things that are next to the arrows, or the arrows themselves, i get a vibration sound like the keyboard wasnt mounted tight enough or is loose. ( like the keyboard is moving down slightly and hitting something under it. On my girlfriend's, she doesnt have that problem, its solid but she has some light coming out of the seams where the screen lcd panel meets the back cover of the laptop. I was just wondering if anyone else had these problems and if anyone has other quaility control issues. Thanks guys!

I think the price for the m14x is reasonable. It's a couple hundreds more than other same spec laptop. However, you also got the klipsch speaker, the light, and the custom plate. If you check out the razer blade with the similar spec and the price is 2800. That's what I call premium.

So do people who buy macs, but if they ever looked inside their computers, they would know it is not so :p

Anyway, I do agree that there seems to be some repeated issues with alienwares, especially the m14x. Luckily I have not had any regret-causing issues with mine, just little point I think alienware could have done better on.

People who buy macs and only use them to browse the web, download music, check facebook and sit in a coffee shop with it are straight DUMB. Sorry, but there is no reason to spend that kind of money when you can buy a basic windows laptop for LITERALLY $400, and that's expensive now from what I've seen.
