For me I will either use the build-in Windows Backup or the AlienRespawn, but usually I will manual backup as some of the software backup program take ages and some other arent free.

Thanks man. Does alien respawn also work like a drive imaging backup? Any other helpful utilities? My uncle gave me a free copy of office and I that was the last install for the key so i hate to revert back to not having it installed yet.

Well, the AlienRespawn is a pre-install program that come with your laptop when you bought one, here is a guide on how to preserve it: HOW TO: Preserve AlienRespawn - stock drive to aftermarket drive / AlienRespawn Q&A

And what its do is to create the system image or recovery discs, however it has 2 version, free and paid, the free is just a plain system image or recovery creator so it is not really a backup program, while the paid version give you more backup option similar to other backup program.
