So I have been having this issue for a while now. Basically my battery don't charge even though it's connect. When i hover my mouse cursor above the battery it says "plugged in but not charging" and most of them time i have to shut down for about 5 to 10 minutes or completely drain the battery. This happens a lot when playing games and it causes lag. Anyone had this issue before and know how to fix it? I'm lazy to call dell and explain all this crap lol. It's only been 9 months since i bought mine and already had call them to replace the screen because microphone was dead on arrival.

Is it an R1 or R2?

What BIOS version are you running?

You should be happy because it still says it is plugged in eventhough it is not charging. You know why I say that? Because if it wasn't, then the problem could be on your motherboard pin connector or the ac adapter, the battery is probably the defective one here which is easily replaced. Call support.

Yesterday Dell guy came over said it's not a problem with battery and he replaced my gpu and charger adapter. However again the same problem is back today after playing assassin's creed for a while :O is going on?
