major loss of frame rate after cpu upgrade m14x r2

Hello this is my first post on here. I have an m14x r2 bought it second hand with a i5 2430 and just did an upgrade to the i5 3210. Before the upgrade i was getting about 60fps on the game "age of wushu" and after the best i can get is about 30fps. The game was set to high before and after the upgrade. Another thing is the windows index score on intel graphics was 5.8 on the hd3000 and now its 5.6 on the hd4000. Can someone please let me know whats going on? maybe the optimus is not working after the upgrade?

have you updated your video card drivers? installing the newest intel drivers and Nvidia drivers would be a good start.

i tired downloading the intel driver from there site but wouldn't let me, something about having to do it at the oem site but the one downloaded from the oem site is not the latest one. Where do i need to download the latest driver? i do have the latest nvidia driver installed from there site. Is there any way to tell if the optimus is using the nvidia card when gaming?
