    Hi,

Just wanted to know which startup programs are necessary for my m14x. I have a lot of items loading during startup and I want to leave out the uneccessary ones to reduce loading time. It usually takes me about 1:30 to laod everything up including wifi.

I will update with the list of programs as soon as I get my hands on the machine.

    Thanks!

I'm not on my m14x right now, but i only have around 6-8 items checked. The alienware on screen display, one of the intel display drivers, none of the nvidia items are checked, the operating system of course.

Basically, remove any third party software items, like iTunes, etc. (i'll edit this post with the exact list of my start up items once I go to my m14x)

P.S My boot times are pretty quick.

Alright my start up list: Most programs listed are bare programs needed to run.
    Synaptics (For the trackpad)
FF Protection (Hard drive protection) Can be stopped but I use it.
Required Application (Idk what this is but its from microsoft so i left it.)
Intel common ui (there were three of these, so i unchecked 2 of them)
Microsoft operating system (needed for obvious reasons)
Windows live (Not needed at all but I like to have it on start up)
    Alienware Onscreen display (needed)
