I'm having an issue with anti-aliasing in Dota 2, wondering if anyone else has the same issue. The anti-aliasing option in the menu doesn't do anything. Same amount of jaggies enabled and disabled. Works fine on my desktop with a GTX570, but doesn't work on my m14x...

    My setup is:

    Windows 8 Pro x64
    650m running 310.90 (yes, I've tried reinstalling)
    Alienware m14x r2

For me, that issue only happen when nvidia did not activated.
Sometimes nvidia did not active when I power on the laptop.
After restart several times it will become normal.

Perhaps try using the "Let the 3d application decide" setting in your nvidia control panel?

Check your nvidia control panel for any option regarding automatic AA settings, maybe the Nvidia control panel is overriding the in-game Anti-aliasing settings.

If anyone else is having this problem make sure that if you've added the dota2.exe to the Nvidia control panel then do not use the global setting for the preferred graphics processor even if that's marked as the Nvidia processor, instead just use the normal "High-performance NVIDIA Processor" option.
That's what solved the problem for me, hope this helps!
