    Hey!

I've read some threads here about people thinking about changing screen, but never saw any results.

I'm EXTREMELY annoyed (like most) bout the reflective screen.

Right I'm thinking about swapping screen to a matte screen to make my experience more enjoyable Alienware M14X 14" WXGA HD (Matte) (LED backlight) LCD Screens, brand-new for $82 Retail ($74 Wholesale)

What's holding me back is some blog-post I read which said that the screen actually is matte already, it's the screen panel that's glossy. This would actually mean that I would be throwing my money in the lake by changing screen?

Do you guys have any more information about this?

If the screen panel is glossy, do you know if it's possible to change it?

    Thanks in advance

Hey mate but look , its 1366 x 768 you sure you wanna swap it? Isn't a matte screen protector is better then taking a risk to swap it?

Thanks for the replies guys, real great.

Have you tried that protection? Only reason I wanted to replace screen is that I read that the matte protectors barely made any difference?

Hmm, do you have any more tips on sites? I spoke to the sales people at Macmall, they said that they can take international costumers, but only ship within US. Wierd!
