hey guys, I was just cleaning out the dust of the fan/exhaust of my m14x r1 when I noticed that my m14x exhaust grill (on the back of the laptop) was not completely flush, it looked like it is pushed in a little bit

I don't think i've ever pushed it in or dropped my laptop

can you guys check your exhaust grill to see if yours is also not perfectly straight?

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but mine is perfectly straight. I have the r2 though...

I have a R1 just looked at it, if I look hard enough I can see a red wire on top of the heatsink inside and on the bottom the copper tubes, although my laptop has been opened a couple of time. It looks straight to me and it definitely is not pushed in just not to much attention to detail.

I think he means the way it looks from the outside not the inside, at least that was what I was describing in my reply.
