I've downloaded all the drivers and such, but the m14x just will NOT run minecraft smoothly, even on the LOWEST settings!
    Specs:
    2720QM
    GT555
I forgot how much RAM, but that should be an issue.
Why is this? it's making me really sad D: I've talked to AW Tech and they tried but failed to fix this. Help, please?

Have you tried white listing the game in Optimus? My best guess is that it's running on the IGP.

While I can't tell you how to whitelist something I can tell you what it is. It makes it so a program will run with the GT555m instead of the Integrated graphics card.

You can whitelist from your Nvidia control pannel, in the 3D option if I remember correctly.
And whitelisting will tell your computer what application to run with the GT555m (the discrete card)

Not sure about PES, but have you checked if Optimus was switching to the GT 555M with other games? I had a problem with the drivers that came pre-installed where the laptop was stuck on the Intel HD 3000. Simply re-installed the drivers and the problem was fixed. To check, go back to the Nvidia Control Panel and see if your changes to the settings were made. If the settings keep resetting to how they were previously, reinstalling the drivers should fix the problem.
