    m14x bright screen

    Hello.

    Few days ago I bought used m14x r1. When I turned it on I was shocked. Screen was very bright and colors where washed out. Black was dark grey. My 5 year old vaio fe41z have much better screen. When I put them side by side the difference is huge. I can change settings in intel panel to be darker, increase saturation etc, but still my vaio looks better. Even my girlfriend's eee's screen looks better. Is there everythig ok?

    Turn on your laptop while holding down the [D] key, your laptop will beep and start running the BIST. If no errors show up it could be a video card problem.
