I have an Alienware M14x r1 and i just bought an OCZ Agility 3 SSD. With reads of 500mb/s and writes of 500mb/s or so. Im on BIOS a08 and i know its sata 2 but when i use crystal disk mark i only get max reads of 198mb/s and writes of 198mb/s.

I have a second hdd in a caddy but its forced to sata 150 so i have 0 problems with that drive.

I downgraded to bios a05 and i couldnt ever get windows to boot and i was getting either freezes or bsod's.

So is there anything i can do, to get faster speeds? or a fix if i go to bios a05 (which i would really like to)

ok so i downgraded/updated to a08 modded with sata 3 bios. And everything works fine no crashes no problems at all, its amaxing. and here are my results. Wow this is great

Yea I did it and it worked perfectly, results are amazing, I posted a thread with a title to make sure anyone else experiencing this issues knows there is a fix, giving proper thanks to red1ty1 and svl7 over at TechInferno. It is something that really should be stickied as it is very useful
