    Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forums, and I've been lurking for a little while now looking to make the m14x my new mobile gaming system. As for my question, does anyone know why the 64gb msata ssd boot drive +500gb 7200rpm drive option is no longer available?

The closest available is the 32gb msata caching ssd option. I chatted with a dell rep and they said there is a technical issue, and there is no known date for that particular configuration's return to the menu. I then called and asked, and the rep didn't have any info at all on why they removed that option.

    Any ideas why? Thanks everyone!

Not a clue why but you can do it yourself and save some money.

Agreed with Slacker, you can do it later yourself and make the configuration, I may be that there is no stock on that SSD. The only problem I've found commonly is people not knowing how to use that configuration and complaining about few space (because they don't use the HDD for storage). Besides that it runs just fine.
