    Hi

I have an alienware 14 base model with the following specs

    I5-4210m processor
    gtx 765m with 2gb ram
    14" wled hd (1366 x 768) anti glare display

my thoughts are i would love to put a 1080p screen in this machine, and from the videos i have seen posted on here and you tube it doesnt look that difficult. i have disassembled many variants of Alienware laptops over the last few years so it should be fine.

What i would like to know if anyone has already done this, and from looking on google finding the correct screen to replace the current screen without any problems, basically plug and play sort of thing.

this is the one i have found, its says its for the alienware 14 1080p glossy, i want a glossy screen just want to make sure it would work ok..

    Thanks

Yes, that's the one. I don't think you should run into any issues if you've done it in the past. Besides that, you will love the new screen.

What a transformation, small screen and 1080p. Went in like a dream from start to finish 15mins...

If you have a AW14 with the 720p the best thing you can do before anything else is fit a 1080p screen you will not regret it...

    Thanks
