I just got off the phone with the Dell sales rep and he gave me a price of 1573.00 which included 7% N.J. sales tax. the specs were: M14X,2820QM,4 GB 1600 Ram,1.5 GB Gtx 555-M 500 Gb HDD. He gave me a 3% discount for using my Dell CC and 2% discount for being a vet. What do you think?

That is the higher res screen. There is only a 768 or a 900 option.

Try and squeeze in the screen upgrade there, if you have to pay extra $$ then you can just downgrade the CPU, 2630qm is very good as it is.

They lowered the price on the Dell website to 1099 and charge 100 for the 2630. They give you an i5-2410M now

Consider the internet wireless card upgrade, gives you much faster speed capacity and double the range.
