hi and yes b4 anyone asks i did a search and it said none for some reason

just recieved my m14x and have a couple of questions concerning temps and fan

question 1 on idle my temps are in the low 50's running a scan or doing anything they can peak upto 66c is this normal?

question 2 i just entered the bios and the fan decided it was gonna spool and stay on i presume this isnt normal?

btw in windows im using core temps for temp recording

    thanks in advance,

gpu is also running at 48c on idle

oooh one more thing is it just me/mine or does the screen seem a lil washed out from factory? only got the 700 option

    1. Yes
    2. Its normal at startup.

Bonus: Yes the screen is a Slim model and thus it doesnt look as good as the thicker laptop screens.

    Your temps are fine.
When you game they will rise to upper 70s after a few hours, higher if you overclock. The computer will throttle down/shut off if you reach 99-100+.
I've had it for 4-5 months and propping up the back with a book, never had any heating problems.

The fan should spin as needed, not all the time, unless it's needed all the time... There are settings in the Bios I believe (never checked, mine worked great out of the box, and still does).

You should've nabbed the 900p screen. It's a deal breaker.

Hope this helps somehow, welcome to the club! :)
