I still have the dell realtek audio installed on my m14x. Anyone know how to output the audio to the mini display port or hdmi output? There are no options showing up for that. Also is there any difference between the dell realtek drives and the windows audio drives and the audio drivers on the realtek site?

For me it was automatically sent to HMDI out, and my audio from my laptop was disabled when I connected it to the external display.

Go to the Control Panel and look at the audio section.

My control panel has only one audio playback device. I will see if it will change automatically.

You may need to reinstall your NVidia drivers as they control the audio output via HDMI I believe.
