    driver help!

    i recently updated my graphic driver to 285.38 and whenever i try to minimize in LoL the game would just crash. any advice?

    This is a known issue with LoL. You can try using ALT+Enter to enter windowed mode first. Honestly, there should be a fix eventually. Though it might help, I wouldn't recommend rolling back drivers.

    For now try windowed mode and edit the game file to go borderless.

    How To:

    After switching into windowed mode, exit the game.
    Go to Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\solutions\lol_game_client_sln\release s\ (some random number here) \deploy\DATA\CFG

    Find the file called "game".

    Open the file with notepad.

    Below the option "Windowed=1" make a new line and put "BorderlessWindow=1"

    Restart your game.

    i didnt have any problem before i updated though. so it must be the driver thats causing it to crash?

    Yes, most likely it is a driver issue.
