    Hello

    Yesterday dell service person come home and change my mobo and all works great,
    But now will m14x not boot up fan and light go on but the screen i black? and no beep?

    my english not good but i hope someone can help me.

    turn off the computer, hold down the power button for 30 seconds maybe more, the screen will turn on.

    Alternativley using hdmi cable connect it to a tv then remove it, turn it off etc..

    works for me

    Try connecting to an external display and see if it works? looks like maybe he didnt connect "all" the cables...

    Either way, you will have to call the tech support.

    Then call Dell, explain what happen and what step you have taken to fix the laptop, then they will dispatch a technician to have the problem part replaced.
