Hi! I'm confused about model fo m14x.
    R1 is the first model.
R2 is the later model, and it is the model hat you can buy now on dell site.
But I don't understand if does exist a R3 model..I'm italian, and maybe R3 is a model only for USA?
I googled for "alienware m14x R3", and i found some photos (grey chassis) and some reviews about R3 model...What is? Is it a coming soon model? (maybe January-February 2013?) or what?
I'm afraid about buying the R2 model today, when a new model (the R3) is coming soon, maybe with a matte screen ( the glossy screen of R2 model is my biggest fear to buy it now)

They won't release a m14x R3 until Nvidia releases new GPUs. I expect Alienware will release an R3 next summer when Nvidia 7XX series GPUs and Intel Broadwell chips will be available. There is very little chance it will have a matte screen, Alienwares have been exclusively glossy for a long time, sadly.

That review is for the m14x r1. It lists the gpu at the gt555m, that was only in the r1 model.

    16GB Ram HyperX 1600Mhz - Seagate Momentus XT2 Hybrid SSD 750gb

My dear friends, no offence but this is an English speaking / writing forum. Please try to keep it that way. Thank you so much for your understanding.

BTW just to provide an official word on this. There is no m14x R3 yet. It might be released in the future but we have no further info about this.
    Take care!
