Hey, umm I bought mine with a dell 10% off coupon. Just search voucher websites for any dell deals. It will show up as a separate hard drive, it is not meshed in with the hdd.

dude, dell home outlet has 25% off coupons all the time! At one point they had some base i5(ivy bridge) R2 models for $750 after coupon! Just do a google search.

Already order mine. Here specs of my Alienware m14xr2

    3rdGen Intel Core i7-3840QM
9.5mm SL, SATA BD (BD-ROM)/DVD Combo

Win 7 Home Prem 64 SP1,Eng,w/Media,AWNB, Later I will upgrade to window 8 pro.
Will use it for some games, photoshop cs6, lightroom 2 and others engineering softwares. I will buy 24" LCD display from dell U2410 or Asus to attach with m14x to get better, brighter display for photo editing and HD movies. I chose alienware cuz of it build quality, best performance and its size of 14" more portable than 17 and 18inches.

You might want to check out the Alienware Sales Assistance Thread, before you buy. You text the guy from Alienware, Rev, with the system conficuration you want. He gets a sales associate to call you and make you a deal. Many have been happy with their deals, some have said their deal was no better than every discount they could stack on the Alienware website. It's still worth a shot...

Those are some amazing specs, exactly what I would take. About the coupons, you can get some here. If you cannot find what you are looking for you can also send us an e-mail to [email protected] and we'll take care of your request.
