The refund will only be give IF the laptop is under 21 days period (it is said in the T&C when you ask to agree to continue), so if your laptop is already more than 21 days, then chances the answer will be no.

My best advice about calling Dell is, if you get a smchuck, hang up and call again. Sometimes its all about finding the right rep. Sometimes these reps are demon spawns with axes to grind and sometimes you find a good person on the other end of the line willing to listen and try to help you. Its a smaller percentage, but you can find them.

yeah, it's quite hard to find one good rep from their end... and the one who's willing to give us a bargain... a good one at least.. :D

demand from them to give you a new one... with the whole specs you ordered... like what Ynot said, if you get an arswhole, hang up and call again... try listing their names too, it'l be fun to spell out... lol!

I would ask for a whole new computer rather than another motherboard if youre having so many problems.

i know that the refund is supposed to be within 21 days, but your laptop seems like it's a lemon - don't get pushed over - DEMAND a new one - NO REFURBS

Guys i just talk to one of the dell rep that was helping me, he said give him one more chance to fix the M14x, with me sending in the system. If things still wrong from that points on they will refund the money/ exchange for the system/upgrade to another system with them paying the extra cost.

I think if you have more than 3 component failures on the same system, you can ask them for a new system.
