The part numbers for the m14x can be found here: M14x Part Number List - Reference
as obtaining the parts, just call dell and give them the part number. Then I think they will sell you the part.

I replaced my 900p screen due to the mic issue. They sent a technician to my house and replaced it for me, and I live in Cumbria, UK.

Dont think they will sell you a spare screen, but you can replace your screen as many times as you like if you can break it without physical damage :)

On a second thought, they may do with some tricks.

When my optical drive broke they sent me a spare one and told me without sending the old one back within few days I can get charged. But they certainly need some proof to show what exactly the screen has gone wrong.

are you trying to upgrade your screen? if you are, they should sell you the part. Every time I end up talking to support they try to get me to pay $700 for a new 1080p screen as an upgrade. They like to sell upgrades ;)
