    Hi

Had my m14x for under a month and it already has 4 biggish scratches on the screen and I take the up most care of it. This is from the keys I imprinting on the screen and general scratches. But I'm thinking if this is happened in 1 month what a it going to be like in 2 YEARS. Dell are replacing the screen cause of a dead pixel I'm just wondering if to get a refund. And get a laptop with a proper sunken screen and matt finish so it doesn't scratch so easily. I had a Acer for 3 years not a mark on it acrylic just scratches way to easily.

Maybe you are missing the rubber spacers that go around the edge of the screen bezel? A new screen probably won't fix that, you should make sure to cite the keys in your report and have them examine it for that issue.

Yeah, not normal, and not typical to Alienware. Get a replacement, you won't regret it (well, unless that one's a dud, too!).

You had an issue with your laptop, and you have not yet achieved a concrete solution/decision, yet you make a thread titled " alienware screen are the worst screens you could possibly get"?

Also, I think everyone knows Alienware does not offer matte screen options as of right now, so when you're getting one you should know how's its gonna be.

I have had my m14 since it came out, the screen in amazing, sure once in awhile the screen picks up oil residue left on the keys, but a little wipe and its gone.

Making posts with blanket declarations however will destroy your credibility on these forums and you might want to rethink how you approach an issue. Many of the people here are more then willing to help and give advice, but if you tend to come in screaming the sky is falling, you will get ignored.

I would also advise maybe getting a microfiber cloth to go between the screen and keyboard when you arent using it, that should help with the finger oil lines, or the occasional key touching the screen.
