    alienware mx14 eye colour not change correctly

    i got mx14,, but the problem is the right eye not change correctly..
    when i change the colour to red,the right eye become black..if i change other colour,it become different from left eye,,can anyone help me solve this problem??

    y i cant upload the photo? the uploader show error, not valid file image..but i use jpg...

    I was having the exact same issue with my M14x when i got it.... Its a problem with the LEDs... Either one of the LEDs is not connected properly or is not working at all... This happens because the machine uses a combination of different colors to produce the selected color... In the case when one LED is not functioning properly, the color produced is wrong, which is what you are seeing....

    I called Alienware support guys and they sent over a tech to fix the LED... Relatively painless and happened over the next business day... You should try calling them up and tell them about this... They wont make a big fuss of it :)

    Hi,

    I thought the eye colour cannot be changed in m14x r1.? :S Its only White by default.. Is there a way to change the eye Colours???
    Please let me know.. Thanks!
