Ok, I've never owned an Alienware but since nobody else has answered I'll give it a go.

This may not apply to Alienware, but computer manufacturers usually have a number of different suppliers for each part so that if one supplier has problems it won't disrupt their production line. If the m14x and m15x keyboards are from the same supplier then there is a chance the keys are compatible. Even better, sometimes the exact same keyboard is used across different models and if this is the case with your keyboards then they will be compatible. Anything else = who knows?

Thanks for your answer, i found several suppliers selling the replacement key for m15x and m17x. Among them, I found m15x key is more similar to m14x. Though my unit is under warranty, I can call Dell to get the replacement of keyboard. But then again, since I am travelling a lot for my work, it is quite not nice to ask them to repair at my hotel.

In the website, i found out that m15x and m17x is using DC28 type key. Not sure m14x is using the same type.

Since its still under warranty I would just ask Dell to send you a new keyboard. You'll need a small Phillips screwdriver and about 10 minutes to replace it yourself. There are how-to videos on Youtube if you've never done it before, like this one: Alienware M14x How to take KEYBOARD off - HidEvolution.com - YouTube

If you really want to replace the individual key, ask the sellers if they can provide a clear close-up photo of the plastic scissor clips that hold the key in place then compare that with the ones on your keyboard. Alternatively if you can provide them with a good photo of your keyboard's clips they should be able to find you a matching key.

Actually, the retainer clip, rubber and all the keys are perfectly working fine. Only a letter from key cap is worn off due to heavy usage. Should i request for the whole keyboard from dell or replace only a single key cap from other supplier or use as it is ? :D
