I know it's a bit early since it's release, but I would love to see a M14x unboxing/initial review from someone who has one on the way and has the capabilities/time to make a simple vid. :D

Also would love to see a complete tear down to watch how to get to the processor without screwing it up

I stated in a previous thread ( which has been bumped to like the 4th page by now lol ) that i'm gonna make an unboxing and teardown video for those who need it.

I usually take it apart anyways to replace the thermal paste cause i've seen how dell puts those things on and I think 1st graders can do a better job -___-

Anyone whose doing one of these, if you could post the sipping box's dimensions and weight in the video, that would be most appreciated!

A video should pop late this week if we're lucky since many M14X's have shipped already

Does repasting the CPU void warranty? Thanks.

no, Repainting the CPU or GPU will not void your warranty if done correctly

    Not at all. :)

It's important to note that if you're unfamiliar with doing it or you are not confident you can get the job done without a mistake, you could always use a third party computer shop in your area and they generally charge 40$/hr.
