I'm looking for a wireless mouse that's good enough to be used for gaming. I know $50 is cheap for gaming mouse but I really would rather not spend more. I really like the g700 but $50 is really my limit so it's just too much :(

i use Logitech Wireless Mouse M510, it not really a gaming mouse but its wireless, 5 buttons, 2yr batterylife, has miniusb receiver.
i play BF3 and WoW with no problems and u can macro side buttons and scrollup/down to keystrokes like "alt+3" "ctrl+1" "F8" or "9" in games
Amazon.com: Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse: Electronics Price: $32

id say your best bet is a Razer Orochi. might be a little out of your $ range (maybe used?), but if wireless is a necessity you dont have many options. wireless in general is not up to the task for gaming. I have an Orochi and though it is a wireless mouse and a gaming mouse its not both at the same time. To game on it using BT is about as sad as using my microsoft BT mouse. you really need to plug in the usb cable to make up the BT lag if your at all serious about gaming. roccat makes a wirelss gaming mouse that uses a dongle instead of bluetooth which may work better. I dont know the pricing or anything though. good luck!

I love this mouse(Orochi) and i don't partiality have small hands, more of a big palm normal size fingers, at first i hear people complaining about the 2 buttons on the right being hard to push but you only really use that for +\- your DPI, Its small comes with a usb cable for wire/wireless and the mouse carrying bag it has is small and some what water resistant.

Battery is great for it, I really haven't experienced much lag, played various MMos, daiblo, skyrim, dayz,DoD. once you adjust the speed of the DPI to your liking you should be set. I almost always have it in wireless mode. At the very worse there's always the return policy

Another vote for the Razer Orochi. It may be a little bit over $50 but from whatever else is available out there, this is one of the better choices. It's bluetooth so no need to waste a USB port with a USB receiver. It also has a USB cable that can be connected or disconnected. No issue with the reported "sleep" mode here as well. It doesn't hurt that it looks damn cool too. :)

And yet another vote for the razer orochi. Bluetooth is great for when all my usb slots are full, feels great in the hand, comes with a carry case, good battery life, blue LED scroll wheel matches Alien FX; what else could u want ? ;)

I guess I should have pointed out that if I am gaming, its almost always a first person shooter. I can see how the minor lag may not be an issue for many other game genres. I actually did break out some BF3 at work after I mad my 1st post on this thread and using BT was not really horrible. but when I have the cord in the case with it and can see such a noticeable improvement, I cant see not using it if I am gaming. FYI, I also use it on BT the majority of the time.

    <3 orochi

I've found the BT lag acceptable in all but FPS games. normally just leave it wired in. I like it's petite size and my hands aren't small so it just feels nimble.
