I have owned my 14 for 2 months now. It is an amazing product and has only had one problem, the wireless NIC. Connecting is usually not a problem but the speeds are. So much so that the Internet will be difficult to use. I made sure that it is always on high powered user but still the problem persists! Any ideas?

Oh and it seems as if the only network that it connects to easily and runs at high speeds is my home wireless network.
    Thanks.

I'm assuming you have the "Killer Wireless 1202," correct? There have been a lot of issues with that card.

You assume correctly, and that is not good to hear. I wonder if/when they will have new drivers to correct for this problem. Or should I upgrade?

It is likely a driver issue, as you suggested. However, we don't know when it will be addressed - it could be fixed tomorrow, or several months from now. If I were in your position, I would try contacting AW Tech Support and seeing if they'll replace your network card with the Broadcom 4352. If not, you can always buy it yourself and upgrade.

My problem with the 1202 is not the really the speed. It does keep dropping out though. I have an XPS l502 with an Intel wireless card that NEVER drops out and the speed is constant. I'm thinking about buying a new card...

Have you guys tried the latest driver from their site? it is supposed to help out with the random behaviors that the card might experience.

Well, after some thought I decided to try Firefox to see if maybe my connection drops were browser related. I was using Chrome. So far, no connection drops! I don't know why Chrome drops and Firefox doesn't. Maybe a setting somewhere?
