    Windows 7 Reinstallation on m14x

    god.. this pc is killing me
    i had some problems etc etc so the guy from the dell support center told me to reinstall win 7 and eliminate all the data i have in my hdd and ssd
    there is only one problem
    when i arrive to the point of where to install win 7 (decide the partitions ect) I can't see my hdd and ssd discs
    it asks me to install some drivers
    i use the resource and resource media dvd but it says there are no drivers
    what should i do?

    help me please

    Go into bios, make sure raid is off.

    still not enough info to help much...

    so you boot from the disc to reinstall windows from the original media? and no destination drives are selectable? have you tried the AW restore function? sometimes computers have restore partitions on the disk that can give you headaches... good luck.

    Yeah, SATA or AHCI should be chosen.

    Also, are you using the dvd drive in the computer, or did you replace it with another hdd.

    If you replaced it with another hdd, and are using a external dvd drive. Make sure your plugged into the left side USB plug.

    I have an ssd and an hdd
    i'm booting from the win 7 recovering dvd-rom given with the pc

    Your ssd, is it a msata or is it in the stock location
    Your hdd, is it in the stock location, or the dvd drive location?
