That would really be sad seeing as I just got this two months ago.

This would be just a 'Guess' thread since there's no detail on when Dell will release the R2, but if you look at the history, the M15x get the GT400M series, the M14xR1 get the GT500M series, then I guess that the M14xR2 would either get the GT600M or GT700M (Maybe?).

And it might be same as the R1, like the R2 would get the GT650M or GT655M and if lucky enough that Dell would have option to throw in a GTX 660M, lol.

Beside, why are you double the post? Because If I remember correctly you already ask this on This thread.

Dell is not even considering an r2,and even If they wipped one up it would take at least 4-6 months, and the main reason on graphics the cooling design on m14x barely handles the gpu it has thats why theres n ogpu choice's.The r1 just came out

If it does get a better graphics card in a new revision, I would really doubt that it will be a card from the gtx line. It will most likely be the gt line. They're going to want you to spend more and get the m17x rather than have redundant systems for the same price. But even with a card from the gt line, it'll still be a great gaming laptop, I wont expect an r2 to be out any time soon, it has only been 6 months. At least a year, maybe 1.5 years, in the mean time, im holding onto my r1, alienware computers have great resale value, and i will probably sell mine and get an r2 when its out. OR not, I love this machine!

Its still so far, useless to talk about it yet.

Tho im sure, m14x will get the strongest GT card, and m15x will use a low end GTX card.

If the M15x returns, Dell might just retire the M14x considering that the latter replaced the former. Personally I would prefer an Ivy Bridge M14x with a new 28nm mid- to high end GPU with lots of overclocking potential. Yum.
