I phoned up Dell and got a $100 off. Rep said manager may give a bigger discount when I order.

I know some of you will comment on my advanced warranty; it's mainly to get peace of mind and I'll be selling the laptop in a few years so I want it to be worth a bit more with the advanced warranty. Also buying warranty is super expensive after sale.

So what kind of discount did you get? Do you think there will be better promotions coming along or should I just go now?

 

I got 175 off. Did the Xbox deal and sold the free xbox for 175 dollars.

 

Just keep haggling. You can most likely get a free xbox with your system seeing how it costs so much, and its not too far off from the pre-configurated systems.

I hope for you that yes. I just googled discount codes in The Netherlands (11 days ago when I ordered and the 90 EUR for over 1099 EUR purchase was ONLY for XPS and so ... no mention about Alienware + 30 EUR free shipping, both discounts expired May 25). But the code worked.

The math was simple: 120 EUR = +/- 12g of top _\|/_ lol

so i got the Wireless HD bundle and got 250$ off right away then the student discount for another 50$ off then then i tried to ask him if i can use the 75$ coupon and free over night shipping and he said if i order right now he will do it. SO over all i got 250+50+75+freeovernight shipping that is over 400$ off and the total was 1998$

I order on the 17nd and the xbox deal didnt start till the 22nd but i manage to talk to the guy who helped me order and he got that deal in there for me

 

See this is where im lost, like on the negotiating part do u call up do it and then place your order, or do u order and then call up after and say like hey what about this? Cuz currently i got the student discount for 2% with 75$ off and i was wondering how do get the xbox cuz i ordered it through till like the last step and didnt say anything about it. Also i would like to see if i could negotiate another little price deduction if thats possible.

I already have an Xbox, so I don't care about that. I can get the Vizio kit from other sources for less $$$ when I'm ready for it, but at this time with my r/l work increasing I don't have time for that.

 

is the aafes back up to 22% or is it still really low like 5%? I thought about calling them up and trying to complain since the Oconus is still 22%. Any suggesting?

 

then i guess that equal what i pay for i get then i guess lol the Vizo kit =200 and the xbox = 200 lol

 

seems at 5%.. last i knew the m17 and the m18 were both still up at 22% though. would be interesting to find out why and when it's going back up
