Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I just got an m14x 2 weeks ago and decided to upgrade to SSD for my primary harddrive and move my 750GB to where my optical drive is (Ordered SSD from Newegg 2 min ago and caddy from ebay). I apologize if this has been asked before, but what can you do with the left over DVD/CD optical drive? Can it be used via usb somehow that way I can use it whenever needed (not often, but don't just want to completely lose it)?
Thank you for your replies.
Regards,
Oz

Hi Tiger,
Thank you for your reply. so in other words my leftover CD/DVD drive is good for nothing. I just didn't want to toss it (store it) in case it could be used externally using a cable or something.
Thanks again.
