    What is that alien sound?

    My m14x makes this alien sound at times (usually when it seems the cpu is working).

    its just a very short little sound.

    I like it but I want to know what it is..

    It's not annoying but I wish it didn't do it. Both of the M14x's do it :eek:

    i get the same it is just before the fan goes full tilt, its a bit odd

    If it's what I think it is, it's just fan ramping up. My M17x did the same thing.

    Dude, it's probably the baby alien that is hatching inside the computer. I thought everyone knew that every alienware comes stock with an alien egg next to the CPU. Why did you think it's called an ALIENware?
