Looking at what headsets other people are using and if it supports DD 5.1 with the m14x? I've heard of some people not being able to use DD 5.1 on it because of limited ports

I use turtle beach x11's. They work great. Use them to play cod mostly.

I use 2 headset one is Sennheiser HD448 and another is Turtle Beach Z1. However I mainly use the Turtle Beach Z1 because of it is a gaming headset and when use it to play BF3, the sound is amazing, but still not as good as a real 5.1 surround sound speaker.

Havn't used them on the m14x yet but i have a set of Razer Megalodons which are comfortable and have pretty good audio quality, also 7.1 for the games that support it.
