    Hello,

These are my specs. What can I improve/upgrade to improve performance?

I've seen people upgrading parts on youtube so I'm wondering what can I do? M14x April 2014 model

    Current

    Processor 4th gen i7 4700MQ 2.4ghz 6mb cache with turbo boost upto 3.4ghz
    HDD 1TB 5400 rpm /80GB mSata caching
    RAM 16GB Dual Channel DD3RL 1600MHZ
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 765M with 2 GB GDDR5

Apparently baseboard manufacturer is Alienware? (looked in msinfo32)

    TIA

Planning to buy Spinpoint M9t 2TB HDD
    and Crucial 500GB Msata
which basically killed all my budget but wondering - is there a possibility of Processor upgrade or graphics upgrade?

    TIA

If your gpu has an MXM-B mobule then yes. Google what that looks like an see if its in your machine. The 4700MQ is also a socketed cpu, so yeah you can upgrade it.

I believe its an Alienware 14. You can only upgrade the processor. The graphics is soldered so it is un-upgradable.
