    Webcam keeps flashing blue?

    Load up a program that uses the webcam, and go into the settings. In the settings look for an "auto white balance" option, and turn that off.

    I didn't have anything to use the webcam except Google chat, and there are no webcam settings in Google chat. So, I installed Skype, found the setting, turned it off, and now my webcam works fine in all applications.

    Sometimes i'd still get that blue fade on the image for some reason, even with it switched off.

    I don't use my webcam a whole hell of a lot, so I haven't noticed any problems.

    You can always call Dell. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere on these forums that a gentlemen had color issues with his webcam, and they either replaced the webcam, or the whole machine.
