I had it once where when Windows Media Player ran, the FX would run the default red and blue pulsing theme.

I turned it off, but now whenever I close WMP, it shuts off my AlienFX momentarily. How do I stop this?

And how do I make my own AlienFX for WMP?

I don't think you can stop it. When I close iTunes, it goes out momentarily too. It's the switchover from the 3rd party application back to the AlienFX software that causes it.

Dont worry, it is normal, it's like shutting down a program and restart to return to the default. Though at some rare circonstances you will encounter thing like it shut down and it doesnt restart, when that happen all you need to do is to Manually restart it back.

Well if that's the case, would disabling 3rd party access keep it normal?

3rd party access mean the command centre will allow those 3rd party app (iTune, WMP) to use/access AlienFX during the visualisation. If you disable it yet it would be normal when you close the app, but you wont see the AlienFX in visualisation.
