Finally i got paid now I can buy the new RAM :D
but I was told that using the HyperX at 1866MHZ is unnecessary because the m14x may not use all the potential from it. any comments????

Do you even have the i7 2720qm to even support 1600mhz?

the 2630 runs 1600MHz as well, I don't understand why everyone keeps saying that it only runs it at 1333MHz, It has been confirmed, through video, pics, and testing, that all three m14x CPU options can run at 1600MHz.

On another note, DONT waste your money on the 1866, just go with the 1600 HyperX, thats what i got.

Buy whichever is cheaper. It won't make a difference.

I've said it many times before and I'll say it again: The difference between bargain-bin crap and ultra-expensive high-end RAM is less and 3% in most games. As long as it's reliable, and won't limit OCing - something you don't realistically have to worry about in the M14x anyway - then you're fine.

Wait so 2630 can't do 1600mhz? So why is it an option when you choose the 2630?

It won't cause any problems, the RAM will just run at 1333mhz.

So if it'll only run at 1333Mhz, then better yet choosing an i5 rather than i7? I'm confused. Why is it that i have to choose a 1600Mhz when choosing the 2630 in the website if it will only run at 1333mhz?

There is a lot of difference on programs like after effect, cinema 4d, sony vegas pro and similar.
but i had 4GB 1600 mhz before purchase this ram, so the difference is bigger than purchasing 8GB 1866 mhz when coming from 8GB 1600 mhz.
Sorry for my bad english, but i'm from Italy. :(

Maybe I will repeat what everyone knows but 2630 should run 1600 Mhz on HyperX. And 2720 should run 1866 Mhz (as posted above).
And big difference you will see for igpu.
