    Anything out there to enable this on these CPUs? I am pretty sure this mobile CPU doesn't need to same voltage at 2.6ghz that my desktop needs at 4.5ghz... CrystalCPUID worked on older laptops but not these. Maybe a bios mod?

    The voltage in the core i series isn't hardwired, it changes according to the load, there's no need for undervolting since the CPU drops the voltage automatically when there's less work to do.

    E.g. my 920xm is at about 0.9125V at idling and 1.150V during 100% load.
    In addition to this, the voltage of each CPU gets set separately by Intel, depending on the quality of the CPU.
