I searched here and the overall Alienware boards, but no mention of it. Anyone have the wireless HDMI transmitter built into their M14x? How do you like it?

I have it but am rather disappointed with it. I was hoping I could keep my laptop at my desk and do everything I needed from my couch. While it does work the biggest problem would be if someone walks infront of the receiver then it goes in and out. If you have a clear shot from the tv to your laptop then its perfect.

I like it. My TV has an issue displaying the resolution, but that is my TV. The display and responsiveness were better than I expected. I'm sure I'll enjoy it more when I replace my TV.

I think for $99 it's worth it to get the transmitter. You can buy the rest of the package later. In a year or two the receiver may be built into the TV itself.
