How many of you guys after having received, your alienware laptop, after intensely observing the exterior case, noticed any blemish, i.e. scratch or smudge or dent?

How many of you guys would return or exchange the machine based off these findings.

I think I noticed a smudge on mine. It's very small, like 1cm, looks like a factory blemish.

I'm very anal and that's why I noticed. So who noticed, and what would you guys do?

I notice the left side of my computer isnt clipped and goes under when pressed, and my spacebar is uneven.
For both problems, I figure I dont really want to be pressing down hard on my computer anyways, and if I ever have a problem I can just get the technician to replace the space bar while he fixes the other problems. I dont want to have to wait weeks for a little problem that isnt really noticeable. :/

Wow, that's exactly what my m14x has. Is the left side of the space bar which is hollow?... Also, my screen is marked by the keyboard when I close it. I notice that the left border of the screen (which serve to not get marked the screen) is uneven too, so that's what is causing the keyboard marks on the screen.

I think the same, I don't want to have to wait a few weeks for some aesthetics problems

PS: Sorry for the bad english

The crooked spacebar is actually not just the spacebar. its the entire right side of the keyboard...at least for my 2 M14x's. There is a very thin and small ribon cable for I can't remember what but it runs right under the keyboard so it is causing it to be uneven. There is nothing you can do about it. I'm pretty sure that all of them have this defect but some may be more noticable than others. I've taken mine apart so I know exactly what's causing it. Too bad they couldn't have found a better way to route the cable.
