    Hey all,

I'm having some problems whitelisting City of Heroes. It's insisting on using the integrated graphics chip so the fans are going full bore.

In the nvidia settings I've set both the updater, launcher and .exe itself to all use the high-performance nvidia card but when I launch the game it still runs off the integrated chip.

    Ideas?

    Thanks in advance :)

    What drivers have?

I had a similar problem, I put the new 285.27 beta, doing a clean install, and I solved the same problem with COH.

    Hi : Cool:

Cool, I'll give that a go. When you said clean install, do you mean removing the old nvidia drivers first? Where did you get the 285.27 beta drivers?

    Thanks :)

launch the exe, advanced selections from the nvidia panel, and select clean install.

Hey, I've updated my drivers to the 285.27 beta ones but still no luck. The updater, NCsoft launcher, .exe and cohupdater are all set to use the Nvidia card.

It still shows I'm using the intel one when I alt-tab out and the alienfx goes from blue-white-red as I'm ingame due to the load on the card.

How do you have it set up?

Thanks for all the help :)

Edit: I've been testing with other games, with Left for Dead 2 I can run it on max settings with no problems. Hrm.

Fixed! For some reason playing with the global settings then changing them back fixed it.

Was also able to disable the alienfx light changes which was throwing me off.

    Resolved! Grazie mille NforceRaid!
