Just got my m14x yesterday, overall fit and finish is great. However, first thing I noticed is that the buttons on the track pad appear to be off, I wanted to double check here before hitting up support for a fix.

    Thanks.

That doesn't look like mine, or normal. Mine aren't quite straight, but amply straight enough for those with everyday eyesight. However, your left button looks quite out of place.

I haven't even seen my m14x yet, but I would say call support and get those buttons fixed. It's not a major issue, but def something worth pointing out.

Just got mine today and my trackpad looks brand new. Nothing like yours. Better get it fixed by support.

Mine has a similar issue, but it's the right button. They aren't perfectly straight

My left button wobbles. Support is coming out to replace my mouse and keyboard tomorrow, hopefully.

The tech came out today and replaced the track pad, it is now as I expected it to be. The service was done within 48 hours after my first call to Dell - they sent me an email the morning after the call and the tech called me the next day to schedule my repair, I'm quite satisfied.
