    Hey Guys/Gals,

My new M14xR2 is coming today, and am prepping for it to get here. I chose Windows 7 on it, but might upgrade to Windows 8 today...Wanted to know if the touchpad has multitouch, and if that works with Windows 8.

Would be kind of pointles IMO to have Windows 8 without multitouch gestures working on the trackpad.

Any thoughts on those who have windows 8...Is it worth the hassle to upgrade??

It has al Synaptics features. I would recommend you to stay a bit in Windows 7 until all drivers are stable and released by manufacturers and OEM. That way it won't be a hassle.

I have to second this, I am on Windows 8 but had some issues installing drivers. I upgraded from Windows 7 to 8 and if I try to install the killer Wireless drivers my Wireless dies. I even used the killer cleaner posted on their site and followed their directions. I tried a clean install of win 8 but it wouldn't let me install onto the msata drive :/. I am however currently stable.
