    I ordered on 11 Jul with an estimated delivery of 25 Jul. I just now get an e-mail saying my order is delayed until 4 Aug......... :mad: :mad: :mad: This truly sucks....

    mine said that it was going to take about a month until it arrived at my house from when i ordered it. it actually took only 2 weeks....

    Did you order your laptop with the mid-level wireless card? The 6205? You might be having the same problem I had. If you call a regular tech, they don't have visibility to the issue, so I only found out when I asked to speak to someone higher up.

    yea same here, I ordered mine on 7/12 and it said the estimated delivery was 7/28 however, it arrived on 7/20.....I was very happy

    yeah mine was like 4 weeks, but i ordered the 25th and got it the 2nd

    I ordered mine on a Thursday and got it the next Monday, so but it was a xbox360 preconfigured setup.

    Mine at first is similar to you, but it update each phase is finish, at first it said that I would get in 5 weeks, and after each phase it downgrade a week each.

    First order date is 11/Jun, first Delivery date is 14/Jul (In production) then 7/Jul (Build complete) then 29/Jun (Ready to ship) Finally it arrive in NZ on the 21/Jun, and Delivery on 23/Jun, and the Final Estimate Delivering date actually was on 24/Jun, but receive a day earlier.

    Dont worry because it change all the time, but you should worry if it doesnt change for after a week after the order date.

    Wonder if color makes any difference. The one I've ordered (going on 3 weeks "in production") is a red one. Perhaps they have fewer red cases or something (?)

    Probably not. Though I didn't order one that had a lot of fancy stuff. Most everything was default, except for the RAM (8MB) and the upgraded sound (Soundblaster). Don't see those things causing a huge delay.

    Could just be the luck of the draw there or something.

    My order went in June 18th and still has not arrived. I think it is parts supply issue, probably something like the base WiFI unit (conjecture) or screen not being in stock that if any of us knew about it would upgrade it in a heart beat to get it sooner.

    Maybe because red, stock configs (with 900p) are the most popular? I got mine with 8gb of RAM, 3GB GPU, and in black which dont seem to be super popular

    I contacted a Dell rep and found out the hold-up is the "Killer" wireless card. I was told they are out of stock and waiting for a new batch to arrive. Hey good things are worth waiting for...
