Ok, just curious as to what people are running...

I can run Empire on 1600x900 on Ultra with all settings maxed out,
Napoleon i'm going to try the same
Shogun I had to Whitelist the card to get it to work, Napoleon and Empire I had to do the amendments to the Script on the line Video Grafx, now uses the GT555M, should be able to run on Max, however had a few people say that they can't run past Medium?
My post is related to having the correct card running the game, so curious as to anyone having lag issues when running large battles?

    Thanks :)

Sho-gun can get pretty demanding. Maxxed out I get a playable framrate@ 1600x900, but I can't remember the average FPS. :( you will prob have a turn off some settings, but I'd expect you to be able to play it on medium/high ;)

I'm not a frame rate , lol, so not really bothered about what the frame rate is, providing it's playable and there's no lag, lol :) Juddering/lag for me becomes unplayable, as for in-game I have tried it tonight and can get everything running on Max, whilst at a resolution of 1366x768 which is the M14X designated res due to the screen size, anything played on 1600x900 on a 14" screen starts to get a bit small for me with the likes of Total War lol... However i'll try it now and let you know :D

Worth mentioning at this point, I have no overclock at all and have my turbo turned off :) Mainly for fan noise more than anything else lol...

OK, so have run the Shogun Benchmark test AND played the game briefly, test battle and campaign, but campaign is no push on any system lol...

So for some reason even with the GT555M enabled, Ultra isn't even an option?

However the game and battle runs fine, everything on High, 1600x900 which is max resolution for the game as I couldn't get Ultra on the graphics. So pretty happy, It looks like I would expect and can't imagine the difference between Ultra on 1366 and High on 1600 are that different lol :)

However I play more Empire and Napoleon anyway as think they are better games :)

EDIT: How did Dell kill your machine?

glad to see it you can run it so well :)

when a dell tech went to replace the media bar and screen, the replacement part shorted out, melting the cable from that and also shorting the mobo :(
