Tomorrow I will finally have the time to go the the office of UPS and be the proud owner of the m14x! I did my homework and made some preparations. I ordered a Notepal U2 cooling pad with fans, a 120gb Intel 320 SSD and a HDD caddy to replace the optical drive. I'm kinda scared to do all these changes because I have 0 experience, but thanks to all the tutorials here I'm sure it will be no problem! If everything works out fine, I might even consider repasting the cpu and gpu, but only if the heat is excessive.

Anyway, can't wait until tomorrow! (and probably can't sleep either... ;) )

Congrats, you have really nice upgrades. Don't worry, installing the ssd will be easy. Swapping out the optical drive for an hdd will be easy as well, just know what you're doing that's all.

Run some stress tests/benchmarks to see your max temperatures, compare with the others and see if you need to replace the thermal compound ;)
    Congrats on your purchase!
