I have been playing SC2 for about a week now on my m14x without any problems. Today I turned it on and the screen went black and the cursor froze before i could even get to the login screen. I had to force shutdown my m14x. upon restart, i tried again and the same issue...this went on for about 3 cycles until i decided to reinstall SC2 thinking it shud surely fix the problem. Here I am now with a fresh copy of SC2 installed and when i try opening it...THE SAME THING!!! Black screen with frozen cursor...can someone help me out here?

Never had problem playing sc2 day in and day out.lol.

Try to whitelist sc2 again. it might fix the problem. if not, try to reinstall gpu driver. I currently use 275.33 driver.

yes. just go to nvidia control panel > manage 3d settings > starcraft 2> nvidia processor and click apply.

if you want to update your driver, just go to laptopvideo2go.com and download the gpu driver 275.33 with mod inf.

    try using a different driver.

make sure that you close all running apps when you open sc2.

You need to copy and paste the mod inf file you downloaded to your installer folder.

Just go to the installer folder where you unpacked the driver 275.33. Insid the installer folder your will see a subfolder named "display.driver." Just open it and copy and replace the nvwi.inf with the mod inf you downloaded from laptopvideo2go.com. After this just run the set up again and you should be able to install the driver. :) Good luck!

Go back to laptopvideo2go.com and download the mod inf file. It should be below the driver you downloaded. Good luck!
