Ok, some may have already put this up, but WOW, just, WOW, I mean seriously, everything, all setting on Ultra or Extreme, resolution on 1600 x 900, V Sync on everything.. It's just amazing, no lag, runs faster than fast and thats with EVERYTHING on the screen, battle going on 4v4... I'm just SOOOO... happy with my purchase.
Empire Total War the same, it's immense, i'm in love :D

Shogun is about 2 mins from finishing updating... So will let you know how that is :)

    Welcome to the club!

    I launched Oblivion first when I got mine, coming from a struggling P4 3Ghz + 2 Gb RAM + Raedon 9600.

I was blown away by it on Ultra at 30+ FPS!

YEAH DUDE! The M14x destroys SC2. I had (still have) an M11x R2 that I really enjoyed, but the framerate would just tank in the late game of 2v2s or higher, and it was really irritating. The M14x handles large games much better. I experience the framerate drops only to the low-mid 20s during HUGE battles, which I'm pretty comfortable with, and anywhere else it just looks fantastic. :)

I know! I was so happy with how well it performed! I took it down to lowest settings possible and fraps told me like 200 plus FPS, made me go woah. But maxed out the FPS is around 30+. Although I noticed that it's not the fastest at the load screens, but it's weird, sometimes it will load in like less than 5 seconds and other times it will be 15 plus seconds. Not that I care, because the gameplay part is perfect!

I love posts like these. The m14x is a little beast. I hope it continues to handle newer games like this.

Could you let me know how Shogun runs on High settings and also the FPS associated with, I'd really like to see that performance before I decide to buy the game or not.

Or were you commenting ultra for shogun? .. I assumed it was SC2

Does starcraft II still perform well when there's like 500+ zerglings on screen?

Rarely would there be 500+ zerglings on screen unless you played a 4v4 where basically everyone made only zerglings... however, I would say yes. M14x does pretty well (mid 20s fps) during ginormous 3v3 and 4v4 battles, and really well (40-60) otherwise.

I don't even think 500 zerglings could fit on the screen with respect to field of view...
